That boat is flat beautiful! Congrats on your completion and it's so impressive that you stayed after it for 14 years.

You do know that we're going to need more pictures, don't you. Lots more.

Leaving the protection of the boat shop, big day!! Every boat takes on a new look when you put it in the water. Looking forward to seeing your beautiful creation afloat and resting on her lines in the water.

Stunning craftsmanship! Good luck with your launch! And wave to the nice NH Marine Patrol officer if you see him! Actually, he may stop you to admire your handiwork. You really should show it off at the Winnepesaukee antique boat show in July... sure fire winner. I believe it's at Wolfeboro this year, check with the NECACBS: http://www.necacbs.org

Well, the launch went great!!! What a feeling! Ran her with 7 family members aboard for about 2 hours without a hitch. It all went so smoothly it was almost unnerving. It helped that the weather was perfect too.

What a design! The ride is amazing and unlike any "modern" design I've ever experienced. With only 2 hours on the clock, it is already well worth the time and effort, (although that was all get also).

A couple of early observations: She rides a little bow down at no wake speed. The ride is dry even in the rear cockpit, but that is due to the spray rails that are referred to as optional in the plans, but in reality a must, that is if a dry ride is important.

I will be working now to try to chronical my build experience so that at least I can help others in terms of what not to do. The members of this forum are amazingly generous in sharing experiences and to me this was invaluable. Thanks very much to all of you!

Ps. It sounds as good as it looks!
