Barrelback decking.

Post by monitor »

Starting the decking on my BB and wondering if you can walk on the decks built per plans on this boat? Also can you walk on the engine hatches.
Plans call for 3/8" total thickness decking, 6" between the battens underneith.
Thanks!

Hi Jim,

As Bill said, Yes.

I am 6' 3" and 240 pounds and I walk over the hatch all the time, I did do mine a little different to the plan but still no major changes.

these boats are so rock solid when finished.

Sounds good Jamie. I have looked through your Belle build extensively, wow! What a beaut. Post some more pics of it in the water when you have a chance. Thanks
