I have recently purchased a set of plans for the coastal cruiser and I am planning on building the 27' version with an outboard engine. I would like to reduce the size of the aft deck area and incorporate approximately 2 additional feet into the cabin/pilot house. I know that such a change can cause problems and should be checked prior to just making this type of change. Any suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated!!! :?:

I plan on doing the same thing except I am going to go with an inboard so I can keep it in my King Harbor Slip, an outboard would make a 27 footer hang out to long.

I would like help/info on a fold up swim step. I cant go any longer than 28.5 Max, from stem to stern, eg. tip of anchor roller/bow pulpit to back edge of swim step 28.5 max.
