Yet another un-Glen-L build

Postby steve crawford » Fri Aug 01, 2014 3:23 pm

Since I built the TNT jet boat back in 06 I have built about 15 kayaks since then....Well we got tired of the pop-up tent camper we have had for 20 yrs...So.......The Woody Camp Trailer....
I started this last Oct. and worked on it till the end of Dec. then got back at it the middle of june....
It has a 5'X10' floor plan.....I can throw a couple of kayaks on the roof and take off......I had no plans just surfed the net for ideas....

Very nice! Would you explain the the galley in the 5th photo? Does the end open to reveal the galley? In the first photo, I think I see a handle below the license plate and a hinge up at the top.

I forgot to mention it is all Baltic birch, biggest percentage 1/8''....
When I took it to get weighed at the local gravel quarry, came to 1020 lbs with the big refg. And it pulls easily with the 1.8 2012 Chevy Sonic.....

Wow,
That is amazing. You're very skilled to be able to plan that out and build it.
Thanks for sharing

Cheers
