1/2 ton pu with 6 1/2 ft. Bed.

I want to build a 8 foot slide in camper and put it in a pu with a 6 1/2 ft. Bed with the tailgate down. Is there a problem with this?

Welcome to the Forum, Hoss !
Tell us a bit about your truck's engine, transmission, gearing and payload capacity. As a general rule, the camper's CG (Center of Gravity) must fall within the rear wheel's leading and trailing edge.
