I recently built a Tuffy (13' runabout). I modified the plans and built mine out of foam/fiberglass, so while being very light, the inerior of the cockpit doesn't look so good. I was hoping that someone on here would have some advice about how to finish the floor and cockpit(aka color and or material.) maybe post a pic from your build if u have it.

I don't have any pics, but when I refinished a glass boat, I brushed white gel-coat in the inside, then used a contrasting color gel-coat (red to match the outside paint color) with an agent added so that when it came out of the spray gun, it came out in strings sort of like silly string and cob-webed the inside.

It masked the glass flaws, and cut down on the glare that way.

Some of the fishing boats are done this way too....maybe Carolina Skiff had their hulls finished this way.

Not sure if you can do this with paint though
