Howdy,

I've been a [u]BIG[u] fan of Glen-L boats for a while, I currently own two vintage aluminum boats; a 1962 Feather Craft 14' Lapstrake Hawk & a 1958 Heating Assurance Inc. 12SS dual cockpit runabout. It was through those boats where I came across the Glen-L website, I'm sure it a 'motor search' as I have a 'few.'

When I get done this summer with the Heating Assurance Inc. 12SS and she is been 'wetted' in it's most current state, I plan on a JET CAT. My wife has a problem with 'heeling' in a turn or for that fact at anytime. I was wondering if anyone has built the 14 foot "JET CAT" recently?

I remember a boat, an 18 foot Magnolia that a family friend had when I was a kid. Fastest outboard boat I've ever been in, (I haven't been in any in about three years) twin Mercury 80 hp motors, the Jet Cat looks a lot like this boat I have mentioned, less fiberglass, 70 hp as the stock photos look to have twin Mercury 400's.

Well that's the plan at least, with twin Merc's.

That'll be a cool build.

Way back in the mid-late 1960's as a kid, I wanted to build that hull for when we moved to Fla....never did though.
