Howdy.
ive ordered the 15' power-row skiff plans...
says ill get two sets of plans... one is the power skiff. The other is a row model.
Ive ordered the wide bottom plans.
but? Says the row plans call for a smaller motor ...why?
And of course be slower. I dont mind slow....but how slow?
Actually for the lake ill be on ..guessing it really wouldn't matter.
we just troutline and boat ride.
soooooo.....smaller motor equals cheaper ..gas and cost of motor.
all im looking for is a tiller steer and electric start.
the pictures show the row model has a more? ???? Rounded bottom.
Like joe dirt said.....in new! Im new! And i dont know what to do! !! Lol.

Hi Peabody,

Congratulations on starting your first boatbuilding project! I'm still working on my first one, too... a Squirt. Having a great time with it!

Have you gotten the "Boatbuilding With Plywood" book from Glen-L? I found it to be extremely helpful.

The website mentions a HP range of 4–20 for the 15' Power-Row Skiff...

Im looking forward to seeing your progress!

 the guys and gals on here may not answer your question because they don't know it and will wait for the ones who have the experience with the model you are building. like myself I would have no idea how to answer your question. you are building a small boat I am building a 29 foot boat, some answers can be answered by all but some questions you will have to wait for somebody with the experience in that build. we don't ignore anybody on here intentionally and there are no dumb questions  good luck on your build
