Another tubby tug build

Postby Glavini » Thu Aug 29, 2013 8:52 am

Just pulled the trigger and ordered the plans for the tubby tug. Not sure how long it will take me to start building and getting everything else purchased but I'm hoping to have it on the water by spring of next year.

Excellent! Can't wait to see how it comes out. Thanks for you're comment on mine!

My birthday is tomorrow and I have asked my wife for two things....(see pic)

Hope to spend this weekend getting some major work done on the tug.

Take lots of pictures!

Just got my plans today. Unfortunately, I have to finish my walkway, attend a wedding and possibly build a new shed before I can really start. Something tells me ill be sstarting the build at work though

So almost 2 years of debating and I finally started! Picked up the plywood today and started tracing the sections o to the plywood. No going back now

So I started transferring the templates onto the plywood. I ended up getting 5x10 sheets so hopefully that will speed up the process and make it a little easier.
