I am now going to get ready to go back to Columbus for the winter.
My winter project is to finish up my Zip.
With that in mind I want to put some rubber around the inside of the where the deck and plywood cover the inside.
Will cover that with the same vinyl as the seats.
What I am looking for is a 1/2 round rubber that will go on first.
Any suggestions on where and what to use.

Re: Interior
I've thought about pipe or swim noodles if you want to go that big.

Classic Boat Connection sells half round 1 1/2" diameter close cell foam that is usually used with fabric to trim around the cockpits.

I have rubber rub rails from Wefco mfg. Its nothing more than half round rubber (solid, not hollow) and they can make any length you need and several widths. I bought 32 ft of 3/4" so that the entire rub rail would be one piece. It was about 50$. I meant for it to be temporary as I had trouble fitting the SS rub rail I first bought and needed something so that I could quickly finish for the 2010 Gathering but its still on there.
Whatever you have in mind they probably have something that will work. I like the idea of using small diameter pipe insulation too
