Do we have anything like this in our plans?

Post by thudpucker » Thu Oct 31, 2013 12:59 pm

I took a ride in several wood boats at the Gatherings.
I was impressed the most with Ken's good fishing and Bad water boat.
For me, that would have been the most useful boat I saw at the Gatherings.

Now a friend asked (challenged) me over this Tin Boat, when I told him he could build one in his Garage and stop dreaming about some $22,000 Lottery win.

There are several dedicated fishing boats in the catalog including the 18' ski-bass which has a deep v hull. Much more comfortable in windy chop than a modified-v aluminum hull. I'm sure it has a lot more storage space too which is nice to have in a fishing boat. I'll be fishing out of my geronimo when it's done, not the best fishing boat but I'll look good doing it.

Also the dragonfly has a frame kit available for $200 bucks right now if flat bottoms are his thing. That price includes the plans! :o

most of that hull design is used in house boats that's what the hull of the Jubilee is. the quest is the smallest of that hull design. or maybe the gypsy
