Bought My Bullet Back Today!
They say the happiest days of owning a boat are the day you buy it (or finish building it) and the day you sell it. Well, I bought my 2008 Bullet back from a friend today that I had sold in May 2012. He wasn't using it much and I sensed a buyer's remorse in him. My situation changed in that I'm moving to MN where my wife feels more comfortable towing me in our little boat. We'll be making wakes in MN starting in May!

Seriously. It's certainly not 1 degree here, but it's definitely below epoxy curing temperature in my garage, and that's all that matters.

My wife grew up in Chicago, so she's not a complete stranger to winter. We'll be moving to Cloquet, about 15 miles west of Duluth.
Found a good deal on snowshoes this weekend and bought them already for next year!
Might be going sailing tomorrow here in Jacksonville!

Re: Bought My Bullet Back Today!
Well, congrats again on getting the boat back and the move...(AND sailing in December!) I get through Cloquet a couple times a year on the way to Winnie to try and thin out the Walleye and Perch! I'm sure the resorts up north there are happy this year with their early snows. The snowmobilers don't have to go all the way to the UP to ride!Mark F. wrote:Bob:
