got prints

Postby dvx216 » Sat Feb 07, 2015 12:40 pm

Opened up the plans for the bullet on diner table .Looking over the drawings I could pretty much follow every thing until I started looking at the transom . Boy did that take a while until I got my brain wrapped around that.I'm sure at some point there was smoke coming out of my ears. The whole 3 dimensional lay out thing took me a while but I figured it out.Looks like getting the wood for the build will be close to home .I live in Amish country and have a great lumber store called Keim Lumber in Charm Ohio is only 40 minutes away.

Welcome to the world of boat building. Yup!! The transom angles and it's 3D cutting can be confusing. Feel free to ask questions.
