Ace Runabout

Postby pamelalynne1 » Sun May 31, 2015 3:09 pm

This one isn't a Glen L. It's Wm Jackson's Ace runabout out of Popular Mechanix Magazine But I thought my friends on the forum might like to see it. Began assembling frames April 15th Picture is from this morning May 31st After building the Squirt Jet and the Stiletto I took on the challenge of making my own patterns from the plans. I had to address a couple of errors in dimensions to align everything; but it worked out well. Thanks to Glen L and everyone here for the experience and support.
Sunday May 31 pushed boat into garage to get it out of the rain and applied another coat of varnish.jpg

Congratulations on completing your Ace! I've actually studied this design quite a bit, and would really like to see more pictures.

Have you shared your project with the guys over at sandeace.com?
