Raising the dashboard height?

Postby weasel » Fri Dec 25, 2015 11:17 am

I have the tunnel might going here and I was wondering what it all entails to raise the dash height 3 inches or so? Just cut the dash board 3 inches taller and then raise the coaming 3 inches at the same angle (that is on the drawings) from the bow to the dashboard and back to the transom. Then lengthen the dash upward cleats and cut the coaming cleats to follow the new contour etc? I don't know if I will open a can of worms here, it's the first boat project I have done hmmm. Thanks and the photos sure do help.

As long as the hull remains true to plans you can change deck stuff pretty easily
