well that wasn't to bad and I think it should work thanks for letting me now on this would of been hard to change later!! plus I was at a perfect time because I was already repainting the bottom because I was not like how it came out when it dried.

That should avoid any cavitation issues. What did you use to cut it down?

Also, what paints are you using, and what went wrong? I'm planning on the System 3 WR-LPU paints, just wondering if you have any tips.

That skeg will be just fine. Hey Jimmy, I used WRLPU on my Zip. It works very well but likes to be put on in thin coats. I used their primer as well. High humidity works best to prevent it from flashing too soon so it can level out. Keep a wet edge and don't overwork the product.

hey Jimmy im with Roberta Iowa's high humidity got me and things turned white and yes bill I'm so glad I posted pic and all I used was a saw all and belt sander

Ahhh told myself I would not fuss about the bottom of the hull but here im fine sanding and trying to make it all as good as I can! well making it the best I can soon i'll be paint bottom of hull

Hi Greg,

That looks pretty good from here. Did you just roll/brush it, or do you have spray equipment?
