thanks Gayle, I chose this one as it looks different from most others.

Used the one part Interlux paint. I used this paint because it is carried nearby.

There is no problem with the paint itself, I am just not good at painting.

Tuffy Launched

Post by Evan »

The boat has been in the water. Never sank, never took on any water so I going to say it was a success.

With my 25 with a busted up prop speed was showing at 26 knots.

Boat seems to handle well and hold a line. There was some smooth water a bit of chop and a couple wakes from big cruisers which we were able to handle without problem.

There is still a number of things to do but it was too nice.

Congrats! That boat has great lines and am surprised not more of them are built.

Fantastic job! :D :D :D :D :D

Would love to see some video when you get a chance for another boat or drone to shoot some.

Thanks, it was a good couple runs. The kids were not huge fans of the wake from that cruiser, but they toughed it out to get to the bakery.

I will try and get some pictures of it in motion next trip.

Upgrades

Post by Evan »

Got a new motor and steering setup which kind of started a chain of other events.

Had to raise the transom height for the longer motor. Changed the colour, red is the wrong colour for someone that hates paint. Still needs at least another coat of each but the nice weather came so it will have to wait. You can't tell once the water spots get on there.

Took it for a couple runs it is a lot more fun with the steering setup. The new motor is a lot heavier so depending on who is in the boat I had to move a bit of weight around.

Still a few things to be done. Who can say when those will happen.
