Windy Fall Flying Saucer Video

Postby craigvansickle » Sat Oct 14, 2017 11:32 pm

We had a fall trip planned to the lake but the weather turned bad at the last minuet. Rather than cancelling we decided to get a little wet and had a blast. I can run fairly smooth in a bad chop if I trim down a little with the outboard. The added fin helps push the hull down and the waves split against the bow. If I run at a normal trim setting in rough water the waves pound hard mid hull. It does make for a wet ride when the wind catches the splitting waves and throws it in back in your face! All part of the adventure.

Thanks guys! That is a regular DJI Mavic Pro (non platinum). I have my commercial license and fly regularly for work. Out of all the DJI drones, the Mavic is my favorite. It is a great little machine if you are looking to pick one up.
