I picked up an old Sears Planer/molder model 306 a few months back. Have just started to wire it up and get it working. I do not have the manual for it and it sure would come in handy for this old beast. Anyone have any leads on where I might find one? I have check a few placed on line with no success!
Thanks

Steve

Steve,
Is 306 the only model number. When I search I'm coming up with 306.233791, 306.233901, etc.

I also found where http://belsaw.com/ made planers for Sear's and they have a link to model #'s at the bottom of their home page.

There are more numbers after the 306...there is a space then the other numbers...I may have to get those and enter them too..I will take a look at that link you provided, it might get me in the neighborhood..thanks!

Chillin...you be the bomb!!

That web site was just the ticket to freedom I was seeking! I called "Sal" and he taught me a little "trick" to fix my problem which was amazing!

In all honesty I should have been able to noodle it out myself, but at my age my noodle has gone soft and if I can remember which foot to place before the other I am very pleased!

Thanks again....they were very helpful, I think I might call them back and order a set of knives from them I feel so bad they took the time to help me for such a stupid thing!

I am so grateful that I bought a lifetime subscription to this web site when it was first introduced, I have made my money back 100 fold!

They totally set me up!

I remember it like it was yesterday:

Glen-L Gathering Number 1

I meet Bill Edmunson,

Shortly after that I meet the infamous "UPS Pirate"..somewhere inbetween I meet this freaking New Yorker with bagpipes, then Gayle shows up with some guy half her age...by this time I am a little groggy...(That was from the dude from GA with the sailboat...) ...UPS asks me if I got in on the initial offering limited to the first five guys who would like to have a life time membership to the GLen-L Boatbuilders Forum...I say: ONLY FIVE?..yup better get it now...it's only $750 now..Edmunson already got his....

See..how it starts..you know they split the money...Glen-L Gathering here I come...we is gonna settle us a score !!

Steve

Next they are gonna tell me that the Victorias Secret swimsuit model that was staying with me at my cabin was actually a guy named john bowen! :?
