forgive me if it's been covered before, but does anyone have a recommendation for a decent stapler for temporary staples? what are your thoughts on the different types (manual, electric, cordless, compressed air models)?

I have a Rapesco (now called Tacwise I think) electric stapler that works very well, not as powerful as the air stapler that I have at work, but it doesn't require a compressor of course which makes it more versatile.
For a more powerful electric stapler the Arrow ET150 Pro Shot 2 is hard to beat, it's around twice the price of my Rapesco but is a seriously good professional machine.
Manual ones just don't have the power and are hard work when you're firing several hundred staples, which you probably will be! I don't know about cordless as I haven't used one.
I think unless you already have a compressor from which to run an air stapler, then a mid-range electric is fine unless you can afford the top range which is obviously better.
