Postby Lowka53 » Sat Feb 16, 2013 9:02 am

:? When my father passed away I was given free rain on anything i wanted before we sold the place so I went into the shop and started picking out tools that was already mine that my dad had borrowed through the years. In the process i came across a large gym bag I noticed that it was full to the brim with power tools i never even looked to see what was in it when i got home i through the bag into my storage unit. I just opened the bag after noticing the bag had a porter cable logo on it and what did i find
it was full of Porter cable cordless hand tools and bit set, 2 battery's and charger so my hand tools increased til this point I only had one cordless tool and what i have is a cheapy I hope they are as good as they advertise i check all the tool and they all work like they are new  now it makes me wonder what other finds I grabbed not really thinking about it. I guess its time to go shed diving and see what riches I come up with. 8)
this the kit i found http://www.portercable.com/Products/Pro ... ctID=21238

Ol Dad knew what he was talking about with tools eh? :)
Actually his tools tell the tale of a life of having to fix his own stuff.
I think I know about that guy's life.

8) Dad and I farmed almost 20 years together we never owned new equipment we was always repairing this or that. the main shop was large enough to rebuild 2 full size tractors in at one time and still have room to walk around. it also was used to butcher in.
