Make sure your sander is off. I plugged mine in last night and it took off like a shot across the hull and onto the floor!! I just got laid off today for three months. Now I can spend more time on my boat.

I worked in a cabinet shop for a couple years where some idiot always turned the 3 hp. router ON when he put it back in the cabinet! Thought he was being cute. He didn't last long. Lucky he got fired before somebody killed him!
