Bough boat/motor/trailer unit as a 'donor' for the Zip I am building. It's a '68 'Fabuglas' boat with a windshield in very good shape that will fit the Zip to a tee. Took the rig for a 'sea trial' and the Merc 700 runs great, a bonus to me and a future project.

Also bought it to rebuild the trailer for the Zip, pretty much a perfect size. Have had some time to check out the trailer and it turns out it's a 'Gator' boat trailer. Best as I can tell from the little info I've found it's likely a late '50's model. I know it has a bent axle, planned on upgrading the axle in any event.

Just wondering if anyone has any knowledge of how to better or more accurtely identify the 'Gator' trailer I have.
