Making a Bunk Trailer

Hi, here is my trailer that I need to convert from roller to a BUNK trailer any tips? I am building the LIttle Hunk Power Dory and the bottom is Flat.Almost done ---1 month maybe :?:

Id go with adjustable brackets. Probably need 8 brackets so you will have two bunks per side of the keel. Something like this maybe but youll want to make sure they are tall enough to work on your application. http://boattrailerpartsplace.com/bunk-b ... 1=1&back=1

Then youll just need lumber for the bunks themselves and bunk carpet.

Make a few patterns and use them to figure out bunk placement.

This is an old pic the bottoms done.not sure if I can have 4 bunks ....maybe 1 in midd. and 1 on each side.....i don't like being pushed :!: :x :x but the city is cracking down on people with things like tents in there backyard. Come on ... it is my backyard. :!:

I know what you mean we have in what the locals call the back yard police they will charge 150.00 if they feel your grass is to long stuff like this is the new red tape I am going through I never would have bought in this city if I had known :roll: :(

I called a guy about installing bunks and he didn't want to do it. Im trying to save some time having someone else do it. im going to do it myself so.....2 bunks placed under the chines and 2 under the out bottom battons . Sound right ? :?:

Bunks going on....2 more going on down the middle :D that's my friend big John > no one seems to bother me when he is around. :lol:
