Oh hey, that would certainly be a nice system to have when its hot and muggy and theres no breeze.

What type of AC system would you choose, Wayne, 12 volt or what?

Rick.....I was/am a distributor for mermaid marine air, in ft. myers fl.....I would use their small 5,000 btu. run off of 110 a/c.........would put it in the front of the V....run a splitter with 2 4in ducts below the v-berth, exiting in front of the seats....there would be plenty of return capability to return the air to the unit.....but at this time I'm not even thinking on this project....I need to get this done first so we can use it.....worry about air later.....Wayne

I have been behind on the boat build...went to myrtle beach for a week with our aliner camper, to a A-liner rally, but this week I did manage to finish fabricating a filler panel in the front upper roof area, to hide the wires that run up to the roof navigation lite, and over to the port side for radio connection. now I have to finish it, get it painted prior to installations...I previously made faceplates to facilitate the radios in both port and starboard roof areas...the mtgs. for the radios will be installed once the antennas are mounted to the roof...
I also have been running a/c wire under the port side floor to receptacles..also am working on a front panel, with access door, to hide the water tank, and allow access to the storage shelf over the water tank. there is alot of work and thinking/planning to do, in order to add all the options I have on this boat...the cabin has been way more time consuming than the hull, because of this...
hope it will float!!!!

pix of the teak flooring I'm installing on the aft deck. they are interlocking squares mounted to a plastic base...which will allow any water to drain down to the bottom...basicly it becomes a free floating floor.
Also a pix of the aft port seat/storage compartment...which will making boarding easier..I will also be completing the installation of the water tank/system.....

....I have been finalizing the port side wiring. encasing it in wire loom.to make it neat...also added a blower to move air, especially to create air flo around the refrig.. to expel it on the back deck...thru the cabinet that houses the lp tank...which is required to be vented....also note 2 110 power outlets....
