well...i'm finished fiberglassing. I also got the spray rails, skeg and the two bumper rails (that run half way up the sides) installed! I will be out of town for the next two weeks, thus giving the resin plenty of time to cure prior to me painting the bottom. THis boat will be flipped before the end of April!

Very nice progress. I look forward to more. BTW, I know about the travel: I've been away this week and then next Sunday, I leave for Taiwan for a week.

I know about that travel on the job gig. When I was in Nuclear QA, I traveled so much one year that for vacation I just wanted to stay home. Retirement is GLORIOUS!!!!

"Nuclear QA". That's what I did in the late 80's finishing Vogtle. You've been traveling too much when you wake up at night, at home, and have to think about where the bathroom is.

I worked at WE Energies for 40 years. From '86 to '98 I was a Senior QA Tech. I did a lot of Vendor Surveillance and Vendor Audits as well as internal Appendix "B" audits. I liked the Vendor stuff, but the internal audits were a meat grinder.

I totally FLIPPED OUT today! I had a big BBQ with the sole condition being that all guests had to help turn the boat over! The day started out nice...around 3:00 it started pouring down rain..but then...a break in the weather at around 6:00 which was went the event took place! Everything went without incident. I officially get my first good side-view!

Today alone made the whole thing worth it! I only wish i could find the words to describe how great it was seeing her on the trailer for the first time! (PS: the only reason I put her on the trailer and not bunks is because i will be moving over the next two weeks).

I have a few adjustments to make on the trailer bunks but other then that..i am positively thrilled!

Fantastic.

Now tell us, does it look bigger right side up?
