You have been hard at work.... looking great.
Is the throttle shift and throttle?
Is that white pipe a ventilation pipe or did you put a kitchen sink in there somewhere???

Hey Glenn, The engine/trans control is a Vetus single control that does both the throttle and the gear. It is really smooth and works great. As far as the white PVC pipe, I basically followed Trisailor's plan for blower placement and engine compartment ventilation. Two blowers are located aft, one on each side of the fuel tank. One is hooked to that PVC and draws air and fumes from low in the engine compartment and exhausts out of a clamshell on the aft deck. The other draws air from low, under the aft deck and exhausts out of the other clamshell. There will be two intake clamshells over the engine compartment. Thanks for the compliment........Keep moving !!! Neel

Busy weekend !! I faired the deck battens over the engine compartment, front deck, and the hatches for the forward cockpit. Also, I cut and glued the 6mm Okume onto the forward deck. I am also working on the covering boards. Still looking for finished product by 8/1. Neel

Re: Gentry build continued
I think it may be time for an update..... Since the last post, I have been working on the interior pieces which have been stained and sealed. The back of the firewall, the underside of the engine compartment, and the ceiling board side panels have been covered with heat/sound shield. A fuel water separater/fuel filter and raw sea water strainer have been installed. Trim tabs have been dry fitted and all electrical for them has been run to the dash switches. My trailer has been almost completely rebuilt. I have received the mahogany deck planking from the supplier and have been installing that for the past three days. So far I have the bow, the mother-in-law seating area hatches, and most of the aft deck planked. I plan on having all deck planking on by next weekend and, soon after, having the entire boat ready for final sanding prior to stain. Launching sometime in August. The motor does run now in the boat, but I have no clue how to put it up on video........ Neel

This is one classy boat Neel!
Once you take video you will need to upload it to a video site like youtube.com and then once it has loaded just post the link to it here on your thread. If you can post pictures on here you wont have a problem making an account and posting video to youtube.

Re: Gentry build continued
Since my last post, I have continued with the deck planking, finished rebuilding my trailer, and have started to install the finished seat boxes for the aft cockpit. I need to make the seat bottom and back panels and tow the boat to the upholstery shop to get the seats finished. I would like to finish the deck before putting it on the trailer, but I came up a little short on mahogany and have to wait for my order to be ready. There really isn't too much more to go, so I guess finishing it from a ladder won't be that bad. Here are some pictures I took this morning....... My best to all........Neel
