I flipped Lauren out the other night when took some clear tubing and made a water level to mark the water line on the planking!

I had to tell her that it worked for the Egyptians. She wanted to know where they got the clear tubing :?:

Looks great Bill!

I really like the idea of doing the planking just a sheet at a time.
I've been dreading the idea of joining panels into 18' lengths, and then trying to work with them. Doing them one sheet at a time, and then butt-blocking them after they're in place, seems a heck of a lot easier!

Jeff

Last summer I tore my rotator cuff. Between that and the fact that I work alone, I had no choice on how to do it. But it's worked out and I'd do it again.

Ouch! sorry to hear that Bill. Hopefully you didn't tear it while working on the boat!

Anyway, glad to hear that it's working out well, as I work alone too (except for some occasional "hold that end" help from my 9 year old son... but I don't think he could handle holding the end of a huge panel)

I think Bill said it was a skydiving incident...he jumped from 4 feet without a parchute.
