I had surgery on Tuesday, 11/14. You talk about pain Tuesday night and Wednesday! Had to sleep in my chair all blocked up so I could not move. Lauren said that she had not seen anyone leave the hospital in that much pain without a baby! Thursday morning I quit the pain meds. They became worse than the pain. Aleve works now. Looking forward to the day that I can use my right hand when I go to the bathroom!

know about your pain-I had alot when I fell off the roof one winter and crushed my ankle.pain meds made the room spin around.nothing worse than having your shoe laces hanging from your mouth.since you broke your throttle hand ,you might have to install a hot foot throttle on your boat

Surgery was 2 weeks ago. Yesterday, they took they took the split tube torcher chamber off my arm! Orgasmic having cold water run over my arm. They hot molded a removable splint over my arm. I can take it off to shower and do range of motion exercises! It still hurts. But, Great improvement! Doctors are happy so far.

I can almost write my name again. Thanks all for thoughts.

As a retired Navy corpsman, do your ROM exercises religiously no matter the pain. The Physical therapists are there to help you recover fully.

As a chronic pain patient, pain can kiss my *#^! I swear the physical therapists are sadists.

Wish you the best as you recover!

p.s. No offense to any Physical therapists on this board, I know you mean well

Joe

These are among the best! World class people come to them. This is the Lemak group in Birmingham. They said just move it till you feel it. They worked on my torn rotator cuff. I won't say painless. But, if you do your part, they will do their part.

Thank You Tom!

I received a very nice gift from Tom Juring. Tom was at the Gathering, G-11. He should have gotten the Innkeeper's Award for taking in Skip-Oz.

What a great gift!

Tom Juring was great fun at the Gathering. I'd grade him an A-1 party animal. But I was really expecting him to post more pics on his Malahini progress.

Where you at, Tom. Hope all's well. Please post pics.

Well. The wrist bones are pretty well mended. I'm still working on strength and range of motion. I just got back the most important function. I still have a pain from time to time. I'm very happy with the speed of recovery.
