The doctor gave me the all clear on my wrist. But, in the three months that I've been limited my upper body is noticeably weaker. I'll work on that. but, I'm free at last!

Now to that long checklist that has been put off!

Good news Bill. Can I send you the minI Torpedo hull to sand when I get back? Light sanding will help you get back into shape.

Roberta

Always thoughtful... Should I use the big belt sander?

I finally got back to the boat. Three months of being down with arm, bad weather, and living 260 miles from the boat has caused not much to be done.

This week I finally fixed the gas gauges. The port tank now reads on the port gauge.
I put a switch in the NEMA2000 communication system. It was draining the batteries.
In finding out what was draining the batteries, I disconnected the Auto Charging Relay. I got the ACR reconnected.
I washed the hull. It had a lot of mold and mildew.
I took the cabin sole out. I'll take those home to install and caulk the pull rings.

It was way too windy here to put the boat in the water. 15 to 20 MPH wind makes it almost impossible to get into a slip. And it's no fun to run in. I still have a good list of things to do!

Those pesky electronics always want to suck a little power even when they're off.

Well, I finally got the Francis Lauren back in the water. She ran great!

Good news:
I had a problem with low speed wondering. I put a small skeg at the aft end of the keel, 2"high x 12" long. Remarkable improvement!
Fuel gauges now read port on the port and starboard reads on starboard.

Bad news:
The Garboard drains leak! I'm going to take them out and plug the holes. I never used them anyway. Seemed like a good idea at the time.
Today I hit the dumpster with the trailer fender and bent the shit out of it. Now, something else to do!
Lots of mildew to clean up.
Now the condo has poly-brutal plumbing that has to be replaced.

A friend did that to his trailer fender too. He just cut the bent section off at an angle. Then cut the other side to match, never would have known if he didnt point it out.
