I have tested another prop a 3 blade 12 x 13 lundberg works well but was a bit to much pitch for the gearing as we toped out at 5250 rpm.
I still like the 4 blade as the steering is lighter and its great for water skiing (25 litres of fuel for days skiing with beginer skiers) . Also tried machining down the 12x15 to a 10.5 x 15 to gain some rpm ( didn't work)
A mate is going to lend me a 10 x 14 3 blade interested to see how that goes .
After testing all these props, the conclusion is after 4000 shaft rpm efficiency goes down lots and more as pitch decreases , so I might be better of with 1.5 gear reduction and 12 x 17 prop anyway i shall give it a go next summer .

I also have put a Bimini top on the boat and added a swim platform .
the swim platform is just a ply wood functional mockup to test size ( 20'' deep ) I think I shall add 4'' to it as the skis can hit the hull when sitting on the swim deck,.
I shall make an attempt to get some better photo's
