Well back to the tahoe for a bit after a looooong pause.... Heres where I'm at today!

Had 3 coats of epoxy on it from before which i had stripped back the whole thing to bare wood cuz the fairing in some areas was horrible.... so faired it better, hit it with stain and this is the first coat again now :)

U live and learn!

Hey fellas ... i just noticed today that my swim step is exactly where i need to drill the holes for the exhaust ports which is about 2 inches above setup level. How should i tackle this?

How low can the exhaust ports be?

*EDIT* dunno why the boat is looking pink here lol ya so thats not what it looks like really !

Cheers
Zane

Redo the step so it looks like an old Corvette or T-Bird with the exhaust going through it.

Bottom edge of exhaust thru hull opening should be about 1" above DWL. Don't know the constraints you're dealing with but you might be able to use an oval or racetrack shape to allow more clearance under the step.

Go out the side and I am serious. That is one cool look.

Check out Butch Barto's "Innocence"
