I purchased a set of plans for the Nimrod and I am comfused by a detail on one of the frame members. I have attached a photo of the detail. Where the bottom frame member meets the side frame member, there are a number of solid and dashed lines that seem to show different options and a note that says "Optional Toe Board or Full Gusset" So my questions related to this are:

1. If I use a toe board, where does it start and end?
2. If I use a toe board, what shape should the gussett be?
3. If I don't use the toe board, does the side frame member still flair out or does it go "straight" down to the bottom frame member?
