Thanks John

I think Neel and I and all the rest of the builders who are or have been on this sight, those who have launched our boats would say in unison "what are you waiting for???"

if building them is fun, driving them is funner!

well, it's been some time since I've posted some photos. Summer has been busy with a trip to Michigan, one to northern Minnesota, several boat shows, trailer revamping. A couple of weeks ago, Bonnie and I went to Shell Lake, Wisconsin, to visit a friend at his lake home, where we shot a lot of pictures of my Gentry. This boat has been such a blast, both to build and now to play with. I hope you don't mind that I can share some of that week-end with the rest of you guys and gals.

Beautiful! And those photos are so good--they would look nice framed and hanging on the wall.

You did it, and to perfection! Do you think that trailer would make it to Tennessee next September. Bonnie Dean would be a real "hit". Great job Dean... Neel

Dean; Just wondering if you installed mufflers?
Would you?
Hoping for a sound bite on the water :D

Doug- no mufflers yet. Interesting that you asked. Last Wednesday when I was out on the river with my wife I asked "too loud? do you want me to put mufflers over the winter?" she actually said she didn't mind the noise level. I believe what she REALLY meant was that it was too loud for me to talk to her while underway! I like it it's throaty without being obnoxious. I've ridden in the forward seat and it's quite quiet up there. Send me a PM and I'll send you a short movie.
