There has been some discussion on the use of Gorrila glue in the past. Do a search of the forum.

The end result has been that most people consider epoxy to be superior but it's a pretty close race in some aspects.

I have used gorilla glue on my build in a few non critical places such as replacing chips etc. I use epoxy for anything structural, or where gap filling is required

Gorilla Glue is an expanding urethane. It requires the parts to be bonded to be placed tightly together. Apply pressure while it is setting up.

It bonds wood very well, but will not waterproof it. It will fill a gap but will have almost no strength in doing so.
