LOOKING to take on a LOST INTEREST GLEN L SQUIRT BOAT BUILD

Post by joe4800 » Mon Jan 23, 2012 1:01 pm

Looking to reasonably buy a incomplete Glen L Squirt boat build.
Something that you have lost interest in completing, if you have such a build collecting dust in your work shop , please contact me to discuss @ chopperboy13@comcast.net
Include pictures for me to view, asking price, your name and contact information and best time to call.

Joe,
There is a gentleman in Toms River, NJ with a frame kit for sale. He also may have motor. If you look in the archives you may find his info. He posted the kit for sale with pictures.

Joe, I don't know of one right now. There was a guy here in Atlanta last year with complete frames and some other stuff. He was moving out of state to take a new job and needed to get rid of it. He even offered them to me for no charge. I had a garage full of Malahini at the time and had just finished a 16.5 ft kayak the prior year. My wife was not for it

If you don't want to build the frames, how about considering a stitch and glue boat? There are several in the same size range as the Squirt. You can put one together in probably 1/2 the time or less. I built my kayak in 4 months and the process is exactly the same.
