I made (Well, Alan made) spacers to set mine parallel to the centreline.

Glen that's what I was thinking about, the pipes look wrong comeing thru transom on a angle.

I made angled spacers as well. Mine were out of aluminum and polished. In retrospect, woulda been easier in wood. I like the look of yours. Maybe I'll change mine this winter. I too frequently take the long road!

I am burning the midnight oil now and that's going to be the name of the riviera one of my grandsons thought of that. we were working on the boat when midnight oil came on the radio singing blue sky mine. he said that would be a good name for the boat
I thought yes I like it , this week I will have all the ply on the deck,all the planking ripped up and thicknessed ready to go on

Can anyone in aus tell me where to buy the stainless d mould for the sides of the boat please.....

For S/S rub rail (hollow) you can try Tubesales Qld P/L at Yatala 07-32872874, ask for Cooper. They told me they were not going to restock anymore but they may still have some leftover stock. Also in the "Afloat" magazine a mob called Custom Engineering are advertising solid S/S rub rail Ph 02-99973135.
