i have had a lot of questions about the top for my Sea Knight. Here are a few more pics. There are also isinglas side curtains (not pictured) that i will post pictures of soon (i just havent used them yet). There is also a back portion to the top that fully encloses the cockpit (also not yet pictured).

I purchased everthing to make the top from Sailrite (snaps, zippers, isinglass, straps, canvas and snaps)
http://www.sailrite.com

and

I purchased a kit for the top framing (a "2 Bow Frame kit" to be exact) from: http://www.csctextiles.com/Btop-03.htm with this kit, you can cut the aluminum tubing down to meet your exact needs. I recomend buying a nice aluminum tube cutter (i bought one from sailrite) to make the job go really easy.

i'll post pictures of the full top (with side curtains and back section) soon.

Thanks for posting this. I really don't like the tall top that I bought for our boat. The top you made has great lines and is perfect for your boat. I hope I can do something that nice for ours. I may just do some Franken-experiments and see if I can cut the frames on ours Our windshield frame is metal and I won't be able to use snaps at the front. But I want that sleek look and it provides better sun protection. BTW, the baby photo is great. My two "little" girls are now 19 and 16 and I miss the old days :(
