well its official sports fans. I have began purchasing materials and doing the layout for my 2nd boat.

i am going to build an 11ft Glen-L "Utility". I want a nice small boat for my kids (I only have one so far and she is too small to operate a boat...i'm just anxious to build) to grow up and play with. I am going to finish it off like a baby version of my Sea Knight.

As always, i will be sure to post plenty of progress pics!

Definitely post your build pics or start a blog. The Utility is my favorite boat that I would like to build short of a full on inboard. I love the lines and practicality of it. I'd like to see your build of the Utility.

I have come very close to starting a build of my own, but just as I was about to start I found a great deal on a 1973 Aqualark. I ended up buying that and it is so much fun. My problem now is that I'm not sure I have room for another boat. :(

In the famous words of Aristotle Onassis "Boats are like rabbits, you can have one boat or many, but you can never stop at just two."
