Much better indeed! Now, I like the right side more than the left...lol.

Its hard to take a photo perfectly centered and the chines might be alittle different. i dont see it and i looked i would say 200 times.its big too andwhen your comparing angles it gets tricky.right up close >to the sides >10 feet away>20 feet away> i think the faring will take care of the slight differences.

Left side needs a litte bit more angle to it.you see more of the side on the left and also the lam wont lay nicely .i have force it into place.GOT IT :!:

The fairing is where it matters most. I corrected a 'chine blocking twist' on my build during fairing. You just saved yourself the extra work of correcting it later.

Keep a close eye on those sheers when you do them. The sheers are a lot more flexible and can 'bump' off the frames a lot easier than the stiffer chines.

Looks good...I ran into the same thing on my Malahini...I didn't like the curves in either the chines OR the sheers...so I ended up cutting them both off and doing them over. Like yours, they came out much better the second time!!

The first pair of chine logs on our Zip ended up as firewood, and the second attempt still required some shimming between the stem and forward frame. There's no going back once the planking goes on, so no shame in doing it over until you're satisfied with the result.
