Ok,all i think i can do to get in right is to make the notchs on the other 2 frames on either side a little higher,i think that will make the middle one go in properly. :?:

I can't comment on the sepcifics of your build, however if it doesn't look right, it probably isn't. At this point in the build it is more important to get the lines and curves fair and looking right than to try to stick to measurements. Look for flat spots and abrupt changes in both dimensions and fair overall curves. Get another long bit of timber and bend it around over the fitted bit to see where there may be issues. I spent quite a bit of time cutting notches and even added a couple of filler pieces. Also pick some spots and measure carefully that they are the same on both sides from the keel. For some reason I ended up fairing away quite a bit on one side of my chine to get it even but the end result on the outside was very good.

I might be tempted to shim the shorter one rather than cut the notches deeper, depending on how I want the overall top-deck to look.

I'm kinda with Iggy. The other frames seem okay. The one seems short. I'd take some measurements just to be sure. I think you could also sister some frame material to that one frame to extend it.

Mike,
If you only have one spot, I wouldn't worry about it. Your planking is going to extend beyond the sheer anyway after you rough cut it. when you put on your carlins and deck supports, you will be able to fair the sheer to the final line on your planking in conjunction with your deck supports.
