So this afternoon, I thought I would play around with the design of the Vera Cruise. I like the overall appearance of the boat but there are a few areas I thought could use some changes. So I scanned the side profile from my study plans into my computer and then spent several hours cleaning up the image so that I could then play with the design. I thought that I would throw it out to the forum for opinions. Let me know what you think. The drawing isn't the best but I think it gets the point across.

I like it. Gives it a sleeker look.

After I showed the two pictures to my wife, she said that the new design takes away from the retro look. Huh??

so I looked at the two pics for awhile, and said No Way!
Then I looked some more, and then some , and then some more, and you know what, she's right!

So back to the drawing board.

This design is a compromise between the two. I think it better retains the retro look. I also dropped the drop in the deck near the front windows (feeling that particular change might be a bit harder to accomplish). I think I like this one better than the previous one.
