:D After painting the cabin and pilothouse off-white,I decided that was too much white with the green hull below bulwarks so painted those green as well.needs another coat and all window trim is painted green as well.

The paint looks great. It's a boat, not a china cabinet right?

 Good way of putting it.Was also looking at an old trailer I have.noticed holes on side rail so I could move axle springs foward or to the rear.Hmmm! might be able to add extra axle or get new heavyier duty one.

Hi Chugalug. Just wanted to stop by and see the boat. Looks VERY nice! You're absolutely right that my little water go-cart will much, much easier to do. My hat off to you for a very nicely done job! Very impressive :D

Tim, nice work on the bulwarks and trim. You've got a nice selection of colors. Hoping we can see an unveiling soon.

:D My problem is I'm a terrible painter(should have painted it all one color)or camo.Maybe a California camo would have looked cool.Gotta keep repainting the back panels .I like using the Folgers resealable coffee cans with lids for paint. And the cheapie brushes.or foamies. :D

:D Got the port side bulwark top on last weekend.now I can concentrate on the stern area.sliding doors didn't work out so went with suicide doors that fold back next to side of pilothouse.pilothouse porthole window trim ended up being painted green-same as hull.still trying to find a doorlatch that would work for side doors

Those hinged doors are just so much simpler than the sliders. I can imagine sliding door getting jammed horribly and being really frustrating.

I'm amazed at what used to be "Home Built" vs what is being done now!

:D Thanks alot ,folks.really made my day.Just don't look too close.pics at angles look pretty good ,however if looked closer, the hull looks like it has a cellulite problem  wasn't really happy with the door hinges I used, but with both sides painted will work for now. :D

been busy working and working on Chug.Installed ordinary storm door handles on suicide side doors. seems to work pretty good.got motorwell almost done-needs aluminum plates for motor installed. Also put 120 outlet in kitchen area with groundfault outlets so can work inside without running cords everywhere.grounding wire runs to common ground?
IMG_0853.JPG
that is temp only-won't stay in boat

Thanks for the update Tim, I like how you carried the green color over into the splash well. That and the wood set it off quite nicely.
