Look closely at the prints. My Tahoe shows them on the outside.

HI John,

Looking good mate!

Just wondering if you have had a look at Track happy's transom on his Gentry, i beleave that he changed it to flow more like a barrel back. (Looks real nice) I was also lucky enough to have a drive of the Gentry, only one of these type of runabouts that i have driven, handled great.

Its fun building, keep the photos coming.

Hi John,

Mate I am at Sarina (Near Mackay) in Queensland. Ever up this way welcome to drop in for a chat and a look at the Belle.
The water was a bit rough the day i had a drive of Glens boat Brandy, but turning didn't seem to have any issues and it docked nicely even in the rough water.

We are trying to arrange our third Gathering for this year (Check out the Gathering section in the forum). Location and date still undecided, if you have any suggestions please put them forward.
We all have to travel as we are so spread out around the country first gathering was Port Macquarie then Grafton.
I wont be ready again for this years gathering so i will be without boat ( am hoping to be finished in time for Christmas holidays to go boating.

Jamie

Hey John,
Jamie is right about me changing the rear, not so much the transom as the upper deck.
I hope I haven't misled you about going off the plans - I was talking about the hull itself. I did everything as per the book up to the rear deck, where I decided I didn't like the chunky "square back" look of the original, and made it one continuous curve from behind the seat to where it meets the transom. You have a ways until you get there, but do check out my pictures to see how it turned out. It caused me quite some head scratching but I am happy with the result.

By the time I have built a boat, I'll be ready to build a boat....
