I was thinking a few cases of beer and everyone on the forum shows up to move it.
Maybe order a truck load of beer! šŸŗ

Use the beer truck to move the boat!

Hoodman--the Klondike has a 15-1/2 foot beam and our boat trailer plans are for boats with a beam up to 8-1/2 foot, FYI. Thank you though!

Appreciate the creative input guys... I'd be pleased to raise a glass or two with anyone who wants to make the trip after we get settled at the marina.

Thanks John... we are making the initial transport to Stockton because of cost considerations, so first launch will be on the Sacramento delta. After bottom paint and making sure everything works we'll be moving to our berth in Alameda. We'd be very pleased to have you visit. Right now waiting for transport company to finish the route check... will post some pics of the move, just not sure at this point when it's going to happen.

Regards,

Steve

Moving something this size is no small issue! At least it is one state. One permit and one state's laws. I know Steve and the transport company are jumping through hoops! Particularly in California.

A quick update... finally have a signed contract for transport from Catheys Valley to Stockton. The move is scheduled for 2nd week in April with surveyor showing up the week prior so we can bind the insurance policy before getting on the trailer. Major sticker shock, about 4x original estimate for the move but at least it's going to finally happen! Tying up loose ends with interior finish, upholstery etc. in the interval. Will have some pics later.

Regards,

Steve

Steve

Glad for you! Sorry for your wallet!

Wish I could come out! But, Lauren seems to think our 25th Anniversary trip is more important, silly woman.

Thanks Bill, we're greatly relieved to finally have a plan for the move... had been turned down by 3 other transport companies before getting one to commit.

Congrats and best wishes on your 25th!

Regards,

Steve
