The relays seem to be similar so now you gotta have a spare which you will never need.

good going Steve

Went out a few times but didn't do any fishing had all the tools but alas the boat was not cooperative. Overheated as soon as it got on plane .Did some overdue maintenance, I am waiting for a set of manifolds and riser elbows. I did manage to snare a few nice rock cod last week on a private charter out of Ventura.

Denzil, sorry to hear about the cooling issues... sounds like you've got the fix in progress.
Brief update on progress over the weekend:
The swim platform decking is finally installed. The synthetic teak cuts cleanly with a finish blade on the table saw; attached with poly-u adhesive (Sabatack)... feels good underfoot!

- Strips of synthetic teak glued on the swim platform... still need to caulk the seams. Sorry about the goofy angle for the pic!
Also finally got the outside ladder to the boatdeck installed... the teak treads are glued on with 5200.

- Ladder to boat deck installed... lower tread can be raised for access to aft winch.
All railings to be installed next week!
Regards,
Steve

I like how your swim deck turned out. These last finishing touches must be very rewarding to you. Man, an epic journey for sure.

Steve, good job on the platform. You really need to do a photo shoot of the entire boat and let us see how it looks now.

Steve, I'd like to see a walk through video like they do on sights selling boats.

Very nice build Steve. I live in Concord and may drive over to Stockton when you are ready for visitors. Also I am friends with Bill Wells who writes for Bay Area Yachtsman magazine I can put you in touch with him and you can see if he is interested in writing and article about your build. I invited him to the 2008 Glen-L Rendezvous and I think Gayle gave him one of Glen-L's historic catalogs as a gift. Leland

Thanks guys for your kind comments and interest. It's still a little early for a walk thru... will try to get something going by end of August when interior work is more complete.
Leland I'd be pleased to have you stop by when we get on the water.
I appreciate being part of the forum...

Steve

A brief update:
The "firm" Sept. 9 date for transport has been pushed back to the 28th but now will be hard to change. Crane is scheduled for lifting the boat onto the trailer in am with trip to boatyard in Stockton to follow in the afternoon. Still lots of loose ends!
Railings are installed... lower level permanent but uppers will have to come off for the move:

- Bow pulpit in place... need to finish up decking etc.

- Upper railing viewed from stern

- Boat deck and flybridge
Interior almost ready for pics...
Regards,
Steve
