I live in the UK and we have some interesting towing restrictions that apply both in terms of weight and length. Of these weight is the more critical issue, my current 4WD is able to tow 1800Kgs, a touch under 3970lbs. As the laws on towing have changed over the years newer licences are much more restrictive than when I passed my test. As such I can tow a trailer up to 7 meters in length but the boat can overhang an additional 3 meters. (What fun). I've been looking at the Tahoe 23 and the Belle Isle, can anyone who has built either give me an idea of the total finished weight.
