Re: Monaco Restart
Thanks Bayou Bengal.
Set the boat on the trailer today. Fit as planned. Not much to do now before the maiden launch. Enjoy the pics.

I really like that hi-vis yellow on the trailer. I'm sure you can't wait to crack that throttle open!

All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the recesses of their minds, wake to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers by day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible.

Re: Monaco Restart
So very happy for you. I know that you've overcome a lot. Completing this boat says so much about your strong character. Congrats, and happy cruising.
Re: Monaco Restart
That is one fine looking boat!
Could you remind us, please, what you used for paint on the bottom. I really like that shade of blue.

Re: Monaco Restart
Amazing job!
You really pushed through, overcame some significant hurdles and created a real beauty.
You are a real inspiration. If you have a larger collection of build photos (other than what is posted here, which is indeed great) you might consider posting them to an online photo sharing program (e.g. google photos) for people to learn even more from your work.
I am very eager to see the launch pics / video.
Again, Great job!

Re: Monaco Restart
Thanks to everyone for your comments.
Posting pictures to the forum is very limited so I might look into posting all photos another way as suggested. I have a couple of hundred. I don't do anything like that yet but I'm sure it will be easy to learn.
Expecting the windshield brackets back from the chromer anytime. That is the last major item to complete before launch.
I have to take the boat to Wildlife and Fisheries for inspection. If all goes, well I will be able to register it.
BTW - The bottom color is Royal Blue by Interlux. Perfection paint. $70.00/Qt - ouch!

Re: Monaco Restart
Decided to spend the 4th installing the windshield. Also, finished the floors. Still have to seal and install them.
Went to Wildlife and Fisheries and registered the boat but it's only good for 30 days. Still have to get it inspected. They no longer come out - you have to go to them if it's on a trailer. Plan to do that soon.
I discovered that the upholsterer cover the front seat bottom backwards. I took the blame since my markings were confusing. That will be the last piece.

It's flat beautiful, Chris, but you've got to quit teasing us. Every time I see a post by you I anxiously click thinking I'll see launch and sea trial videos.
Really looking forward to seeing it and you in the water.
By the way, here's the link for the Madisonville Wooden Boat Festival - https://woodenboatfest.org/wp-includes/ ... cation.pdf. I'm on the boat application and approval committee. You and your boat are, of course, pre-approved. Please come.
