Plumbing Problems

Postby Fair Dinkum » Wed Aug 03, 2016 8:26 pm

No, i don't have "personal" plumbing problems, it is more about my velvet drive. I have scoured the internet, but cant seem to get the clarification i need with regards to my velvet drive cooling system. I have attached a photo of how i have roughly connected it (just loose for now), can anyone throw their eye over the attached photo to check i have done it correctly? I am itching to get it into the hull, but i am waiting for new mounts (Isoflex M85-20 S mounts) to come in, I nearly choked when got the price (better part of $800 for 4), but i am assured the current mounts wont be up to the task. Any help / comments much appreciated.

I can''t see from the photo, but the transmission oil cooler is the first thing to get fresh raw water.
the tranny cooler between the raw water pump and intake strainer,
Oak is over rated, everything about it takes extra time; then it warps, splits or checks !!!
