My neighbor stopped by an asked if I wanted his galvanized trailer for $200. A few quick measurements and it was a good fit. The right size, galvanized and delivered to my driveway, doesn't get any cheaper an easier than that. Welded up some brackets to attach the bunks, gave a mighty shove from the building form to the trailer and I'm ready to role.
Took it to Jose' my auto body guy for a paint quote. $1500 to high fill prime it, block sand and paint. Seems pricey but I'll spend every bit of $500 in materials and it will look like an amateur painted it in his garage. I'll put it on the maybe list.
